About Tim
Design Philosophy
Tim wears two hats at Brashears — Showroom Manager based out of Branson and Visual Merchandising Manager — making sure our stores run smoothly and look their best every time you walk in. Before Brashears, he spent 17 years running a fine art gallery and custom framing shop where he represented 75 artists, dealt only in original works, and specialized in archival framing, heirloom shadow boxes, and restored 1920s-1930s lighting. He worked mostly with clients furnishing second and third homes on the lake. That trained eye for composition, color, and presentation is what he brings to our showrooms now — vignettes, window displays, and floor sets designed so customers can actually picture how pieces work together. His proudest moments are the ones where a customer walks in, sees a display, and asks to buy the whole thing.
Outside the Showroom
Outside the store, Tim is happiest dining out with good friends, traveling, or out on the lake with a boat under him. Museums and galleries are a regular stop wherever he goes — old habits from gallery life — and he tends to come back from every trip with new ideas for the showroom floor. The detail most people don't know about him: before all the framing and design work, Tim spent ten years running a bakery and decorating cakes. The hands-on, design-with-purpose instinct apparently runs deep.
